Energy transition and sustainable development have become essential areas of action for the academic and industrial spheres, especially in Brazil. Geophysics plays a fundamental role in this scenario, given its potential to contribute to the decarbonization of activities in the oil and gas sector and to the use of different renewable resources. Based on this, the 10th Brazilian Symposium on Geophysics will have as its theme “The Brazilian Energy Sector in the Transition Scenario”, bringing together, in lectures, round tables and presentations of scientific papers, its main areas of technological innovation and multidisciplinary interfaces in low-carbon practices, without forgetting the recognized vanguards of action in the onshore and offshore O&G environments in the country.
