About the Role
Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Type: Full-time
This role is suited for a geoscientist with 2–4 years of professional experience who is comfortable working with geological and geophysical data and is eager to grow in a client-facing, technology-driven environment. You will work closely with both local and global teams, supporting clients while continuing to build strong technical expertise.
Your Responsibilities
Geoscience Analysis & Interpretation
- Analyze and interpret geological and geophysical datasets to support subsurface understanding.
- Contribute to seismic interpretation and technical studies using our software solutions.
- Support the delivery of high-quality technical outputs to clients.
Software Support & Client Enablement
- Support clients in the use of PaleoScan, including onboarding, training, and day-to-day technical assistance.
- Assist with troubleshooting, demonstrations, and best-practice guidance to ensure successful software adoption.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions as needed.
Collaboration & Continuous Development
- Work closely with geoscientists, support, pre-sales, and product teams across regions.
- Contribute to internal documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvement.
- Continue developing technical and professional skills through hands-on project work.
What You Bring
Experience & Education
- BSc or MSc in Geoscience, Geophysics, or a related field
- 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in geoscience, seismic interpretation, or related roles
- Solid understanding of geological and geophysical interpretation concepts
- Interest in geoscience software, digital workflows, and technology-enabled solutions
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset
- Ability to work from our Rio de Janeiro office
Nice to Have
- Experience with PaleoScan or other seismic interpretation software
- Exposure to oil & gas, energy, or subsurface-related projects
Client-facing or technical support experience - English proficiency (French is a plus)
